The Montessori method of Education is one of the major break
through in preschool and primary education in the world. This
method was invented by Dr. Maria Montessori in Italy.
Effectiveness of the method was proved to the world with in a
short period of time. There had been no commonly acceptable
method of education for preschool, at the time method was
invented by Dr. Maria Montessori. The Montessori method of
education for preschool became one of the most effective
educational system.
Our main motive is to develop the Montessori Method of
Education to give the maximum benefits to the todays child who
will have to be prepared for the tomorrow's world.

A) TRAIN TEACHERS IN THE MONTESSORI METHOD OF EDUCATION
We are a committed Montessori Teacher Training organization, who is
trying to produce quality teachers to the world.
We train our teachers to be very flexible and creative instead, rigid or
robotic. The child absorbs everything from the teacher, therefore
teacher should be a model. If the teacher is rigid and not flexible, not
accommodating, not understanding, not having freedom to think but to
do only what was learned, will result a unsuccessful teacher model. We
encourage teachers to learn from the child as teachers experience
handling children. Teachers knowledge should not be limited to the
course work learned during the training but continue to learn from the
child as the teacher experience different behaviors and environments.
Our teacher training programmes are most effective and enjoyable and
interesting.

This Organization has been producing quality teachers during the past
number of decades. One of the founder members of this institution is a
direct student of Dr. Maria Montessori. This organization has received
registration under the tertiary and vocational education commission.
We use the resources of pure work of Dr. Montessori inherited by the
Colombo Montessori Teacher training Centre Sri Lanka.
OUR ASSOCIATES
We have the privilege of using the Resources of The International
Montessori Council USA. Also we were recognized to receive the
membership of The International Montessori Council USA. The
International Montessori Council is a body which grant accreditation to
Montessori Schools in the US.

There is no perfect method of education in the world but subject to
developments.
The space crafts, air planes, computers and many machineries,
technologies and many things in the world found to be miraculous
when it was found new.
If no one developed the computer since it was invented, we would
have remained with limited capacity.

C) ENCOURAGE RESEARCH WORK IN THE MONTESSORI METHOD OF
EDUCATION
It is very appreciable that some leading modern Montessori
Organizations in the US, have introduced new subjects to the
Montessori Curriculum such as Astronomy, Prehistoric Time etc.. It is
very important for us to move forward from these subjects especially
subject such as prehistoric time.
There are many controversial issues focused on theory of evolution
and prehistoric time. It is important to go beyond these surface
subjects to gain deeper knowledge to have balance and logical views.
The topics such as prehistoric time and evolution. We invite
Montessori teachers who are interested in research work, to write to
us about their finding so that we will publish it in our web site.
PUBLISH RESEARCH WORK IN THIS SIGHT AFTER RECEIVING THE
APPROVAL FROM THE RESEARCH BOARD
Children are the future adult generation. It is the link between one

of a future adult is depends on the conditions that are provided to the
child. The foundation on a rock is stable.
Correct conditions, correct environment, correct guidance, correct
observations are some of the necessities that are necessary to lay a
good foundation for a child. Defective foundation will make a
defective adult to the world and to the society. Build a nation build the
child.
