The UAE has a large private early-years sector, with British, Indian, American and Montessori-inspired nurseries across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Many teachers there study Montessori online around work.
You can study APTTI's Montessori teacher training online from UAE: the Certificate (120 hours), Diploma (200 hours) or PG Diploma (240 hours). Fees are USD 170, 325 or 475. Entry is 10+2 or a degree. The certificate is APTTI's own: widely used for private preschool jobs, but not a local teaching licence.
Montessori jobs in UAE
Nurseries and early childhood centres hire lead teachers and teaching assistants; Montessori training is a common advantage in Montessori and Montessori-inspired settings.
Many centres serve Indian, Arab, British and other expatriate families, so English-medium experience matters.
Some job adverts ask for 'AMI, AMS or equivalent' Montessori certification; others accept any recognised Montessori diploma alongside early childhood experience.
Job titles to search: nursery teacher, early years teacher, Montessori teacher, teaching assistant (TA), FS1/FS2 teacher.
Recognition and rules in UAE
Private education is regulated at emirate level, for example by KHDA in Dubai, ADEK in Abu Dhabi and SPEA in Sharjah, with federal rules also applying. Requirements for lead teachers can include a relevant degree and a teacher licence.
APTTI's courses are not KHDA-approved training. If a centre specifically needs KHDA-approved or licensed training, check before enrolling.
International fees are paid in USD: 170, 325 or 475.
Documents and attestation
Gulf employers and visa authorities usually ask for educational documents to be attested: by the issuing country's authorities, the destination country's embassy, and then that country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Your degree or 10+2 certificate matters most for visas; ask admissions how APTTI supports attestation of its certificate.
Is an online Montessori diploma accepted in the UAE?
Many private nurseries accept it as evidence of Montessori training, especially for assistant and teacher roles. Posts that require AMI/AMS, a degree in education or a teacher licence will need more.
Do I need attestation for a UAE job?
Usually yes for your degree or school certificates. Employers tell you which documents they need attested.
Can I study while working in the UAE?
Yes. The course is online and self-paced, so many learners study in the evenings or at weekends.
Is there an APTTI campus in UAE?
