How online study works
After enrolment you receive the course modules. Each module ends with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). A final assignment is reviewed by APTTI assessors within about ten days of submission; if parts need work, you are asked to revise and resubmit. The certificate is posted to you after successful completion.
Course materials are available 24×7 with download access, so you can study after work or around family time. Tutors answer questions by email and WhatsApp.
What online study cannot do
An online course cannot give you a supervised in-person practicum. Practise with materials you make, volunteer in a Montessori classroom, or work as an assistant while you study, and keep a portfolio.
APTTI's Montessori courses are online professional development programmes from a private institute. They are not AMI or AMS diplomas, they are not MACTE-accredited, and they are not a government teaching licence such as a B.Ed., D.El.Ed. or a national teacher registration. Many private preschools and Montessori-inspired nurseries accept them; schools that require AMI, AMS or MACTE credentials, or a licence, will not. Check the requirement of the school or regulator you are targeting before you enrol.
Before you enrol
Is the Montessori course fully online?
Yes. You study the modules online at your own pace, complete MCQs after each module and submit assignments online. There is no compulsory classroom attendance.
What are the fees?
Certificate ₹10,000 + GST or USD 170; Diploma ₹20,000 + GST or USD 325; PG Diploma ₹30,000 + GST or USD 475. Ask admissions about instalments before you apply.
Who can join?
The published entry requirement is 10+2 (higher secondary) or a bachelor's degree. Admissions can confirm whether your qualification fits a particular level.
How long do the courses take?
Certificate: 120 hours over about 6 months. Diploma: 200 hours over about 10 months. PG Diploma: 240 hours over about 12 months.
Does the course include hands-on work with Montessori materials?
The courses teach how the materials are presented and why. Because study is online, you practise with materials you can access or make; there is no supervised in-person practicum. If a school needs a supervised practicum, check before enrolling.
Is this an AMI, AMS or MACTE-accredited diploma?
No. It is APTTI's own certificate. AMI and AMS run their own training centres, and MACTE accredits programmes that include residency and practicum requirements. If a job asks specifically for AMI, AMS or MACTE, this course will not meet that requirement.
Will the certificate be accepted by schools?
Acceptance is decided by each employer. Many private preschools and Montessori-inspired nurseries in India, the Gulf, Africa and Asia hire teachers with private Montessori certificates, but no course can guarantee a job. Ask the schools you are targeting what they require.
How is the course assessed?
MCQs after each module and a final assignment reviewed by assessors within about ten days. You can resubmit if improvements are needed.
Is the certificate attested or notarised?
APTTI states that its institute and certificate are notarised in Canada. Gulf employers usually also need embassy or MOFA attestation, which is a separate process; ask admissions how they support it.
Can I upgrade from the Certificate to the Diploma?
Ask admissions. Upgrade routes and any fee adjustment are confirmed individually.
Do you offer job placement?
APTTI offers job assistance at the end of the course, such as guidance and leads. It is not a guarantee of employment.
Is payment taken on this website?
No. The forms on this site only send your details to admissions. Fees are paid only after admissions confirms your enrolment.
