Montessori schools in Nigeria: what should you know?
Montessori nursery and primary schools are common in Nigerian cities, especially Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, and the 'Montessori directress' is a recognised role. Nigeria has an AMI training centre in Lagos (Montessori Study Centre, established 2019) and a MACTE-accredited centre. Quality varies, so trained teachers are valued.
