What is the qualification needed to become a Montessori teacher?
To teach in most private Montessori preschools, you need at least 10+2 (higher secondary) plus Montessori teacher training such as a Certificate or Diploma. Many schools prefer a bachelor's degree. Government teaching posts, some international schools and some countries require additional recognised qualifications or licences, or AMI/AMS training.
