What are land and water forms in Montessori?
Land and water forms are trays or models showing paired geographical features, such as island and lake, peninsula and gulf, isthmus and strait, cape and bay. Children pour water into the tray to see the feature, learn its name and match it to picture cards. They make abstract geography words concrete.
