What is AMS Montessori?
AMS (American Montessori Society) is a Montessori organisation founded in the USA in 1960 by Nancy McCormick Rambusch. It affiliates teacher-education programmes and schools, many of which are MACTE-accredited, and offers credentials at several levels. AMS has adapted Montessori for modern American education and is the largest Montessori organisation in the USA.
